Inaugurated in November 2000, in Antelias - Greater Beirut - Aida Cherfan Fine Art gallery was carefully conceived to host different types of art exhibitions: paintings, sculptures, photography, etc. in particular the large size pieces of artworks. Somehow, lately, a new space in Beirut Central District was made available; and the gallery is opening up a new space in the heart of Beirut in April 2001: Place de l’Etoile - Hussein el Ahdab str. A smaller area and a different function; an opportunity for young and confirmed artists to put their work on display. This new gallery will only hold five or six major exhibitions per year.
