These are my favorite Arabic singers all in one sampler.
George Wassouf’s raspy voice is so alluring.
Amr Diab is the most well known to the non-Arab world.
Elissa is my FAV female vocalist and Kadim Saher from Iraq my favorite male vocalist.
If you want to hear the BEST Arabic voices singing songs of love and romance, download this freebie. Thanks Amazon.

I like most of these songs but my absolute favorite has to be Ayami Beek (Wana A’dar) by Elissa. I also really liked Baada Aal Bal by Fadl Shaker and Sowar (Pictures)by Kadim Al Sahir. Definitely worth downloading.

I expected to see Mounir, Louay, Fouad, or many others. But all considered it is a good album.

This review is from: Private Beach Club 2 (Audio CD)

Steve Miller (Afterlife) returns once more to compile the second volume of “Private Beach Club”. This installment is definitely a step up from the first, which more up-beat than what I imagined it too be. This volume resonates with a “warm” sound that would compliment any summer day or night, rain or shine. Like the first volume, this compilation is divided into two discs, CD1 Private Beach Bar and CD2 Members Club Bar. The first disc is more the more laid back of the pair, but not by much though; I would not define these tracks to be downbeat, but they are definitely lounge, like something you would find on Hed Kandi’s “Serve Chilled” compilations. The second disc features more of an upbeat sound, something like what is offered by the defected music label or what is found on the bargrooves “Summer Sessions” compilations.
Since summer is not yet over, I cannot find a reason why you should not buy this, it was after all compiled by Afterlife himself, Steve Miller. He does indeed do an amazing job of putting together this collection of tracks on this two cd set. Both cds are unmixed, just in case any of you were wondering.

If you are looking to relax while listening to some GREAT soft exotic songs, buy this album. It takes you to a musical trip to the near east, you can almost see the Oasis images, arabesque ladies dancing in the room and beduines singing in the desert. Simply AWESOME!

  6. The free selections from Rotana are much more real and artistic. The classic bar grooves are just electronically layered loops hardly attractive enough for a swinging bachelor pad or cheap nightclub. Very modern, though!

  7. my favorite songs are Aam Bimzah Maak and Ayami Beek. Ayami Beek is real upbeat with that great mysterious Arabic touch, an excellent form of music.
